Accessible and affordable transit is a key pillar of the Community Transportation Program. We are committed to keeping fares resonable and supporting low income individuals’ access to transit across Muskoka. The District of Muskoka Transit Pass may be available to low income individuals who meet certain eligibility criteria.
Passes are currently valid for one year from the date of issue and can be renewed annually if you are still eligible. District Transit passes will be phasing out physical cards and transitioning to eletronic passes. Both will be valid until the end of 2026. Starting in 2027, anyone wishing to obtain a pass will go through the eligibility process and their pass will be stored electronically in the Blaise software. Stay tuned for more details!
Note: The District Transit Passes are not valid on the Bracebridge Wave or Huntsville Transit.
