2025/2026 DBCA Tag Registration

Downtown Business Collection Area (DBCA) Curbside Program 

The DBCA curbside collection program provides weekly pickup for both garbage and recycling. 

• Garbage: All garbage must be in clear, colourless garbage bags and tagged using either DBCA tags provided by the District or regular green garbage bag tags.  (Maximum of 10 tagged garbage bags per property, per collection.) 

• Recycling: No tags are required for recycling. 

Please complete this form to register your property for tags for the 2025-2026 collection year. 
If you are applying for multiple properties, a separate form must be submitted for each property (not each unit). 

Bag tags are provided based on the annual collection limit for per roll number. Tags are the responsibility of the property owner and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Please complete registration by December 19, 2025 to ensure tags are issued prior to the office holiday closure. Registrations received in 2026 will be allocated tags corresponding to the remaining collection days for the year. Starting January 2026, the orange 2024/2025 DBCA tags will no longer be valid.

If you require additional tags, they are available for purchase at any Muskoka transfer station.

Please note, to pick up DBCA tags, property owners or their authorized representatives must present valid identification.
